As a leading international player in the maritime sector, we rely on smooth logistics to guarantee timely deliveries to ships, freight forwarders, and agencies worldwide. Behind this efficient operation is our dedicated Logistics Department – and that’s where you come in.
Based at our headquarters, you’ll work at the heart of our operations as Logistics Manager, leading teams, optimizing processes, and ensuring everything runs efficiently while also supporting the General Manager and Director in strategic matters.
What will you do?
Lead and manage the Forwarding/Customs, Sales & Drivers, and Warehouse teams
Ensure timely delivery to ships, freight forwarders, and agencies
Supervise accurate and timely customs and tax filings
For shipments, check documents and prepare required CMRs, T1, EUR.1, and EX.A documents
Manage complete and accurate processing of sales files for invoicing
Improve logistics processes with possible IT solutions
Work closely with other departments to optimize workflow
Organize staff deployment for extra services, including weekend shifts
Manage the vehicle fleet, including maintenance, trip registration, and regulatory compliance
Maintain relationships with the Tax Authorities, freight forwarders, and carriers
Actively participate in operational tasks and support the General Manager & Director
What do you bring?
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
Experience in shipping is a plus
Declarant/Customs knowledge is a plus
Knowledge of customs documents and systems is a plus
Stress-resistant and highly accurate
Analytical mindset
Hands-on mentality and initiative
Good at setting priorities
Excellent communication and commercial skills
Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written
Able to work independently as well as in a team
Driving license B
Own transport due to company location
Flexible mindset, not limited to a 9-to-5 mentality
